Data Center Infrastructure Management: Part 3

Data Center Infrastructure Management “DCIM” has become the big “must have” on the data center project list, despite the ongoing weak economic environment.

This is third webinar in the series on DCIM. In the first two sessions we covered what is DCIM and why is almost every organization putting it on their shopping list, as well as how to address some of the challenges of implementation. It also reviewed the ability of DCIM to do predictive and proactive maintenance analysis to improve overall availability, as well as how it can be utilized for capacity planning.

In this third session we will examine how DCIM can manage the ongoing challenges of moves, adds and changes, while continuous helping to optimize energy efficiency. Moreover, we will examine how it can improve the operational management of electrical infrastructure to meet these challenges, which are driven by the ever evolving and dynamic IT hardware power and cooling requirements.  This session will also dive into the long-term direct and indirect benefits of DCIM that can provide the justification for an investment of capital, time and labor.

Please join us in this third live webinar, and in case you were unable to attend the prior sessions they available for replay at
