Siemens Type WL Low Voltage Switchgear

Siemens Type WL low voltage metal-enclosed switchgear is designed, tested and constructed to provide superior power distribution, power monitoring and control.  At the heart of the Type WL low voltage switchgear is the world class Siemens WL breaker.  The Type WL low voltage switchgear assembly (lineup) consists of one or more metal-enclosed vertical sections.  Each vertical section consists of up to four individually enclosed breakers or auxiliary compartments which are designed to provide superior modularity and uniform height.  Included in each switchgear lineup are various components such as WL breakers, instrumentation and control equipment, transformers, relays, three-phase bus work and all internal wiring, connectors and other supporting components.

Siemens arc resistant Type WL low voltage switchgear is designed and tested to provide an additional degree of protection for personnel performing normal operating duties in proximity to the energized equipment.  Arc resistant Type WL low voltage switchgear is performance tested and UL certified to IEEE C37.20.7 to provide protection from the hazards of internal arcing faults.
