New SZSI available to meet changes to NEC 2014!
In 2014 NEC will require an arc energy reduction mechanism for circuit breakers rated 1200A and above. Methods for reducing the clearing time may include: Zone-selective interlocking (ZSI), Differential relaying, Energy-reducing maintenance switching with local status indicator, or an approved equivalent means. Siemens answers with our new SZSI. This module is currently available and provides ZSI connectivity between our molded case breakers and the WL breaker.
