All offices and employees within the Siemens Building Technologies Mid-Atlantic Area will be involved in the delivery and on-going maintenance and support of the defined programs and projects within this plan. Our areas of focus will be:
conservation of energy and water
recycling and reuse of materials
green business growth
environmental community involvement
The defined programs and projects will be delivered throughout the Mid-Atlantic work environment - which may include the office, company vehicles and job sites.
The Mid-Atlantic Sustainability Master Plan will be developed and delivered through an initial team of volunteers, who will engage other employees to help foster the growth and enhancements of the programs and projects throughout the year.
Each focused area of the plan will have a defined overview narrative followed by the cataloging of each program / project onto the company’s provided program / project matrix form.
It will be the responsibility of each focused area “champion” to determine a method of measuring success and reporting on the focused area during team update meetings. This may be best conducted during town hall meetings when all employees can participate in the progress and success of the programs.
Updated by the team annually, the Mid-Atlantic Sustainability Master Plan will be a dynamic document designed to pitch programs / projects.
The defined areas of focus programs / projects will be submitted to the company’s SOAR program for point credit determination.
