FIS 1114 – MXL – Installation, Operation and Maintenance

Overview: Learn to install, operate, maintain, test, troubleshoot and wire an MXL advanced microprocessor-based fire alarm system.

Participants: For users whose role is to engineer, install, test or maintain a MXL system.

Objectives: Upon completion of the course, you should be able to:

  • Silence and reset the panel

  • Install field devices

  • Add devices to the database using Acculink

  • View and change detector sensitivities

  • Enable and disable points

  • Create and transfer MXL configurations

  • Test, inspect and troubleshoot a MXL system
