FIS 7114 VESDA System Design and Maintenance

Overview: Learn to engineer, design, install, maintain and troubleshoot the VESDA Air Sampling Smoke Detection (ASSD) system.

Participants: For users whose role is to engineer, install or maintain a VESDA Air Sampling system.

Objectives: Upon completion of the course, you should be able to:

  • Understand various common applications for ASSD systems

  • Design, install, commission and operate the VESDA system

  • Use the pipe design program (Aspire) to validate the air sampling design
